Word allows you to insert sound files into your document if you're the sort who wants to make your documents more multimedia-friendly. This is accomplished in the following way:
Set the insertion point to the location where you wish the sound to be played.
Select Object from the Insert menu. The Object dialogue box appears in Word.
Select the Create from File option.
Use the dialogue box's controls to find a sound file that you want to add with your project.
Click the OK button. In your document, an icon that looks like a speaker is added.
By double-clicking on the speaker icon, you can listen to your sound file afterwards.
