Experts from Israel and India have collaborated to produce quick screening for Covid-19 in less than 30 seconds, combining Israel's technology skills with India's mass manufacturing capacity. As part of the combined effort to produce the quick testing kits for Covid-19, Israel will shortly deploy a high-level research team to India to complete a series of 'final phases of testing.'

A high-ranking team from Israel's Ministry of Defense's Directorate of Defence Research and Development (DDR&D), which has been functioning with India's DRDO to create rapid checking for Covid-19 in under 30 seconds, is set to fly from Tel Aviv to New Delhi on a special flight in the coming days, the Israeli Ministry of Defense said in a statement.

The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) and Ministry of Health are also implicated in this extraordinary collaboration between the 2 nations, which seeks to 'merge Israeli innovation with Indian production and development abilities to enable for a rapid resumption of regular life alongside the virus.' The DDR&D team will complete several 'final stages of testing' alongside their Indian colleagues to assess the viability of different fast diagnostic options.
