“Ignited Minds: Unleashing the Power within India” is a book written by Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam. He was the President of India from 2002-2007, and a great Scientist and a Patriot. Dr. Abdul Kalam was also known as the “Missile Man of India”.
This book consists of many inspirational messages by Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam. He dedicated the book Ignited Minds to an Intermediate School child, named Snehal Kakkar. He met Snehal at a school named Anandalaya in Anand, Gujarat; under Anandalaya Education Society. Dr. Kalam was at the school to meet the students and there he came across a question “Who is our enemy?” In response to this question, he comes with a number of answers, but the answer on which everyone agreed came from this girl Snehal Kakkar. She said, “Our enemy is Poverty”.
Dr. Kalam recited his whole experience in this book with numbers of inspirational quotes, original ideas, and rapid growth of India to emerge as a Developed Country. He dedicated this book to the young citizens of India. This came in much demand and wanted all over the world after the death of Dr. Abdul Kalam.
