For EV owners in colder regions, how much range loss is typical once temperatures drop below freezing? I’ve seen people report very different results, even for similar-sized cars.
Is the variation mostly down to cabin heating, battery temperature, short trips, or how the vehicle is parked and charged? I’m especially curious whether a winter range estimate should be compared with the car’s official rating or with its own summer driving range.
