To truly appreciate Wordle Unlimited, it's essential to understand the phenomenon that preceded it: Wordle. Created by Josh Wardle, a software engineer from Brooklyn, as a gift for his partner, Wordle was initially a private affair. However, its simple yet engaging gameplay quickly captured the hearts (and minds) of Wardle's family and friends. Recognizing its potential, he released Wordle to the public in October 2021.
