For a better understanding of the importance of business and its importance to society, we need to know what we mean by business first. According to Investopedia, “business refers to an organization or enterprising entity engaged in commercial, industrial, or professional activities”. Having this definition of business, I can say that the course that I have taken in Schroeder School of Business has changed my perspective of business, but not much the importance of it to society.
