To find out, right-click on the 'My Computer' icon and select the 'Properties' option from the menu. Then, select the 'General' option to view the details of your computer's operating system. If your machine has a 64-bit version of Windows Xp, it will be written, but if there is nothing about the 64-bit, it is a 32-bit edition.

To see if you're using a 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows 10, launch the Settings app by pressing Windows+i, then navigate to System > About. Look for the 'System type' entry on the right side. It will tell you whether you're running a 32-bit or 64-bit operating system and whether you have a 64-bit capable processor.

If you have Windows 8, go to Control Panel > System. To find the page quickly, press Start and search for 'system.' To determine if your operating system and CPU are 32-bit or 64-bit, look for the 'System type' entry.
