To find out, right-click on the **'My Computer' icon** and select the 'Properties' option from the menu. Then, select the 'General' option to view the details of your computer's operating system. If your machine has a 64-bit version of Windows Xp, it will be written, but if there is nothing about the 64-bit, it is a 32-bit edition.

To see if you're using a 32-bit or 64-bit version of **Windows 10,** launch the Settings app by pressing Windows+i, then navigate to System > About. Look for the 'System type' entry on the right side. It will tell you whether you're running a 32-bit or 64-bit operating system and whether you have a 64-bit capable processor.

If you have **Windows 8,** go to Control Panel > System. To find the page quickly, press Start and search for 'system.' To determine if your operating system and CPU are 32-bit or 64-bit, look for the 'System type' entry.
