What is animation?

The use and manipulation of still pictures to create the illusion of movement is known as animation. An animator is a person who creates animations. He or she employs a variety of computer technologies to record still photographs and then animate them in the order requested.
• Animation is made up of a series of static images, each of which differs significantly from the one before it. Since the 1950s, animation has grown in popularity. There are 2D and 3D animation films available nowadays.
