Steps to create a form in MS Access:

  • To make a form without any controls or preformatted items, follow these steps: Click Blank Form on the Create tab. The Field List pane appears when Access opens a blank form in Layout view.
  • Click the plus sign (+) next to the table or tables that contain the fields you wish to see on the form in the Field List window.
  • Double-click or drag a field onto the form to add it to the form. To add many fields at once, hold CTRL and click multiple fields, then drag them all onto the form at once.
  • To add a logo, title, page numbers, or the date and time to the form, use the tools in the Controls group on the Form Layout Tools tab.
  • Click Design and utilise the tools in the Controls group to add a greater selection of controls to the form.
