  • To skip only that instance of the error, click Ignore.
  • To ignore all instances of the mistake, click Ignore All.
  • 'Click Add to add a misspelt word to the dictionary and skip it in all texts.'
  • Uncheck 'Mark grammar errors as you type' and 'Check spelling as you type' under 'When correcting spelling and grammar in Word' under File > Options > Proofing. Even after reopening the file, this will entirely address your problem with every phrase. Do not be alarmed! This is feasible.
  • Select the text you don't want to be checked for spelling or grammar in your Word document.
  • Set Language is located in the Proofing group on the Review tab.
  • Select the Do not check spelling or grammar checkbox at the bottom of the page, then click OK to save your changes.
