- When you utilise a drop-down list to limit the entries users can make in a cell, data entry is faster and more accurate. When a cell is selected, the down-arrow of the drop-down list displays, and the user can click it to make a selection.

- Choose the cells in which you want the lists to appear.
- Select DATA > Data Validation from the ribbon.
- Set Allow to List in the dialogue.
- Click on Source, type the text or numbers you want in your drop-down list (separated by commas for a comma-delimited list), and then click OK.
