The disadvantages of Microsoft Edge:
- There are far fewer extensions.-Exotic extensions and, in particular, a plethora of quite useful plugins are available. Edge has a few, though not quite as many as Edge. You can use extensions from the Chrome Store, but you have to set that up manually. The amount of extensions available for Edge will almost certainly increase, but as long as developers know they can continue to work with Chrome, they may be hesitant to switch to Edge.
- It's rare that I'm able to sync.-You can truly sync everything inside Chrome so that you get the same experience on any system you use, but you can also utilise the same extensions and avoid entering passwords you've saved elsewhere. Edge will most certainly sync as well in the future, although the options are currently limited compared to Google's browser.
- Payment was postponed-Microsoft Edge has been making headlines in recent days due to its zealous support for Zip, at least in the United States. Zip is a service that allows you to put off paying something till later. This is a buy-now, pay-later option that frustrates people because the platform isn't free to begin with.
