The Pune Cantonment Board (PCB) has been awarded the Raksha Mantri Award for Excellence 2021 for 'advancements to the Cantonment General Hospital.'
The board has now received the prize three years in a row, having previously received it in 2019 and 2020. The honor was presented to PCB CEO Amit Kumar, resident medical officer (RMO) Usha Tapase, Mrunali Small, the hospital's matron, and PCB elected candidate Sachin Mathurawala by defense minister Rajnath Singh.
'Since the epidemic, the whole year has been technically extremely demanding for all the hospital employees who had offered technical advice with dedication and hard work towards easing the miseries of Covid-19 patients,' stated PCB CEO Amit Kumar. We are grateful to all of our members of the team, the DGDE office, and the administration for recognizing our efforts on behalf of Cantonment residents.'
