On December 4, Ajaz Patel of
New Zealand became the
3rd player
in history to take all ten-wicket in an innings. This occurred on the second day of the second Test against
India at
Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium. The other two international performers are
England's Jim Laker and India's Anil Kumble.
James Charles Laker was an English professional cricketer who represented
England in 46 Test matches and played for Surrey County Cricket Club from 1946 to 1959. He was born in the Yorkshire town of Shipley and died in the London suburb of Wimbledon.
Anil Kumble is a former Indian cricket coach and pundit who featured Test and One Day International cricket for his country throughout his 18-year international
career. He grabbed 619 wickets in Test cricket and is the fourth-highest wicket-taker of all times as of 2021. He is widely considered as one of the top leg-spin bowlers in Test
cricket history.
