  • Try emptying the cache entirely if reloading the page around the cache doesn't work. It will remove any potentially corrupt files that are preventing Netflix from working in Chrome. C7053-1803 is the error code for this, although emptying the cache can help with many browser playback issues.
  • In Chrome, open a new tab and type or paste 'chrome:/settings/clearBrowserData' into the address bar. Select All Time, Cookies, Site Data, and Cached Images and Files. Clear data is the option. You'll have to sign back into Netflix and restart the stream, but everything should be alright now.
  • Using Incognito Mode instead of deleting the cache may work for some reason. Incognito Mode works by creating a new profile with no cache and only accepting session cookies. It doesn't accomplish anything that clearing the cache doesn't, but it can help you get around Netflix issues.
  • Select Incognito Mode from the context menu of your Chrome icon.
  • Go to Netflix and sign up for an account.
  • Start a stream and test if it runs without any issues.
