Right to Information Act in India, including the benefits, also has some issues in terms of its implementation, misuse, and lack of awareness.
Overview
Every coin and situation has two faces, one is the one which you will see and the other is which you can’t, but it exists. Similarly, the Indian constitution and acts that were made by the makers of the constitution have some benefits and also some issues in its functioning.
As in the case of Raj Narayan V. State of UP, the Supreme Court of India stated clearly that if any person wants to speak, he must have the knowledge in what contest to speak.
The judgment given the green signal for the act as said that the Right of Information is already given by our constitution makers as onarticle 19 (1) (A) as a Fundamental Right.
RTI ACT 2005
The basic need to stand on a public platform of the earth is the knowledge of what subject we have to talk about. The earlier makers of the constitution were not able to think as deep during the making of it hence they do not mention any article related to the information right but hey were clearly mentioned the right of speech and expression. After looking in the right one can clearly say that without having knowledge, one can’t make one’s speech.
After many movements, the act was finally made as to the RTI Act and was implemented in 2005.

Challenges related to RTI act
The main objective of the act is to provide the information of the public authority to the public for their interest but, during the Covid-19 period the help that was asked by the Indian government as PM Cares Fund from the public of India was denied to reveal the information related to the collection in PM Cares Fundand the PM office reply was the Fund is not related to the public interest. This became a dictatorship which is the biggest problem. The government should respect its rules and regulations.
Low Public awareness
The awareness about the act of RTI that was implemented in 2005 but still not known the majority of people in India. Hence we all should promote the knowledge the of RRTI act in public.
