Sattriya is a classical dance form of which State?

The traditional classical dance form, Sattriya has its origin in Assam. This dance form is primarily a homage to the Vasihnava sect of Hinduism and the plays which are mainly dedicated to the lives of Lord Krishna and Lady Radha. It is one of the most soothing and serene dance form of northeastern parts of the Indian subcontinent.

The concept of this dancing form is recorded in the written Sanskrit scriptures of Natya Shastra by Bharat Muni. 
During the 14th century CE Bhakti Movement when a certain sage Srimanta Sankaradev devised the modern style of Sattriya, its discovery got accomplished. It mainly composes one act play commonly known as Ankita Nat in which dancers performs the devotional play in a single scene. It also dedicates its performance to the Vishnu avatars such as Lord Rama and Sita.
