Ransomware is a type of Malicious Software, once it overtakes the computer, there are maximum chances of harming the computer system like by not allowing to access your computer data. Many normal ransomware locks the system, but it not so difficult for a knowledgeable person to undo it or unlock the computer system. Many advanced malware encrypts the file of the computer system, which makes file inaccessible for the user and demands a payment to decrypt the files.

Explain ransomware and how it
Ransomware attacks are typically carried out with Trojans. Trojans put a false image and trick people as a real file and lead them to download or open the file. The file comes from various ways like messages or email attachment and vulnerability in a network service.
Some examples of Ransomware are; Reveton, WannaCry Worm, CrytoLocker, CryptoWall, Fusob, Petya, Bad Rabbit, and SamSam.
Effects on the PC:
1. Not allowed to access the data of the computer.
2. Lock the system to get opened.
3. Encrypts the files of the computer system.
4. It cost a lot of money.
5. From a company’s point of view, it is very bad and hits the reputation of the organization.
