Method 1
- Start afresh or recently deleted iPad.
- To select a language and area, follow the online instructions.
- Select Set Up Manually from the drop-down menu.
- Follow the onscreen prompts after tapping Restore from iCloud Backup.
Method 2- Connect a fresh or recently deleted iPad to the computer containing your backup via USB.
- Choose one of the following options:
- On your Mac, in the Finder sidebar, type: After selecting your iPad, click Trust.
- MacOS 10.15 or later is necessary to recover an iPad from a backup using the Finder. Use iTunes to restore from a backup if you're using an older version of macOS.
- If you have many devices connected to your PC and are using the iTunes program on a Windows PC, click the device icon towards the top left of the iTunes window, then select your new or newly erased iPad from the list.
- On the welcome screen, click “Restore from this backup,” choose your backup from the list, then click Continue.
