• It's not too difficult to pair a remote with a Mac:
• Log in as an Admin user on your Mac.
• Close your eyes and lean in close to your Mac (about 3 or 4 inches away).
• Point the remote at the front of your Mac's infrared sensor.
• For 5 seconds, simultaneously press and hold the Menu and Next/Fast-forward buttons on the remote.
• Your Apple Remote and PC have now been paired. For a brief moment, a chain-link like lock should appear in the centre of your screen.
