‘Mukesh Wadhumal Jagtiani’ is the original name of India’s Billionaire Businessman ‘Micky Jagtiani’. According to Forbes, he is having a Net Worth of $5 Billion.
He started his career as a Taxi Driver and a Hotel Room Cleaner in London after his drop out from the college. Later, he shifted to Bahrain and started a Baby product shop in 1973 and took over the business of his deceased brother. He worked as the shop owner for about 10 years. After that, he expanded his business and started opening new stores in the city. In initial expansion he introduced about 6 stores in a short interval of time between all new openings. But after that he had to shift his business in Dubai, due to start of Gulf War. In Dubai he started his business group with the name ‘Landmark Group’. Then, in a short period of time he expanded his business into fashion, electronics, furniture’s, and the budget hotels as well in the Middle Asia, East Asia, and in South-East Asia. The business group has about 1000 stores and employs more than 45000 peoples.
At present, The Landmark Group has about 2300+ outlets across 22 countries. The company manages its own bran as well as has franchise right for many international brands, including Shoe Designer ‘Steve Madden’ and Health club ‘Fitness First’. Very few people might have know about the fact that, Landmark Group has suspended the sales of all Trump-branded products in its stores after the U.S. President made anti-Muslim remarks during his election campaign. In India’s Richest List of 2018, he is at number 30. Whereas, he is been ranked at 480th position in the World Billionaires of 2018.
