Indian Institute of Technology Madras is one among the most renowned Institutes all across India. In the year 1956, the German Government offered for technical guidance and assistance to build an institute of higher rated education in engineering in India. Soon in the year 1959, an agreement has been signed for building the Indian Institute of Technology at Madras.
Talking about the scenario of placement and internship in IIT Madras is quite promising as last year variant companies and public sectors undertaking which were registered for the first phase of the placement recruited a lot of students.
Previous year around 308 companies registered for the initial phase and recruited around 1327 students. Companies which registered for the placements were biggies and Giant Corporation Such As Axis Bank, American Express, Goldman Sachs, EY, Intel Technology India, McKinsey, Microsoft, Rolls-Royce India, The Boston Consulting Group and Uber Amazon Development Centre India.
