Well!! The Country that has recently joined Ashgabat agreement!!

Is India!!!
For the setting of an International Transport and Transit route between the countries like Iran, Oman, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan the country who recently joined Ashgabat Agreement is India. On 2nd February 2018 India formally joined Ashgabat agreement.
All the four founding countries have consented to the accession of India as it is informed by Turkmenistan which is Depository State of Ashgabat Agreement
On April 25, 2011 this agreement was signed by founding members of the agreement which are Iran, Oman and Uzbekistan besides Turkmenistan, as it visualises the easiness of transit and transportation of goods between Central Asia and the Persian Gulf countries.
On October 2016, in a joint press conference with the Turkmenistan and Afghanistan President, Pakistan had formally joined the Ashgabat Agreement in addition to the Lapis Lazuli corridor, but Turkmenistan And Afghanistan not Accepted.
The coronation to the Agreement would bring variation in India for connectivity options with Central Asia and have a positive impact on its trade and commercial ties with the region.
This agreement will helpful to present the India in Chabahar Port, INSTC as well as future coronation to Eurasian Economic Union (EEU).
For making an international transport and transit route in easiness of transportation of goods between Central Asia and the Persian Gulf the Ashgabat agreement is very much helpful as it is a Multimodal transport agreement between Oman, Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Pakistan and India.
Happy For India!!!
