The Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration is located in the remote area of Mussoorie, Uttarakhand. It’s a research and training institute on public policy and public administration across India and is operated by India’s Union Government.
The primary motive of this institute to provide appropriate training to the civil service officers of Indian Administrative Services, Indian Police Service, Indian Forest Services and also the Group a Central Services which are Indian Foreign Service among others. The Indian Administrative Service (IAS) trainee’s officers will be awarded an MA degree in Public Management from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi.
