**The Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration is located in the remote area of Mussoorie, Uttarakhand. It’s a research and training institute on public policy and public administration across India and is operated by India’s Union Government.**

The **primary motive of this institute to provide appropriate training to the civil service officers of Indian Administrative Services, Indian Police Service, Indian Forest Services and also the Group a Central Services which are Indian Foreign Service among others.** The Indian Administrative Service (IAS) trainee’s officers will be awarded an MA degree in Public Management from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi.
