India would be the country in which (IGC-2020) or the 36th edition of International Geological Congress would be held, it would be organized by the capital of the country that is Delhi in the year 2020. The funds of the event is been gathered by the Science Academy of the neighboring countries also are the co-host and they are- Nepal, Sri-Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan along with these countries much other organization like Ministry of Earth Sciences(MoES), Ministry of Mines(MoM) and the efficacious support of the Indian National Science Academy(INSA). From all over the world, more than 7000 geoscientist gets attracted to this conference. As per the regulation of IUGS-IGC Council, this event is been sheltered of International Union of Geological Sciences(IUGS).
