ASP uses VBScript for coding purpose but ASP.NET allow the programmers to use C#, VB.NET and other programming languages. ASP.NET allow the users to follow the concept of object-oriented programming language and also provide the permission to access different tools which comes in .NET Framework. ASP.NET has followed the rule of markup language and also add several controls to develop any application or projects.
