Software testing is a crucial process in the development lifecycle of software, involving the evaluation and verification of a software product or system to ensure its quality, functionality, and performance. This process aims to identify defects, errors, or bugs within the software, ensuring that it meets specified requirements and user expectations. Software testing encompasses various techniques, methodologies, and tools, ranging from manual testing conducted by human testers to automated testing performed using specialized software tools and scripts. Ultimately, the goal of software testing is to enhance the quality, reliability, and usability of the software, thereby minimizing risks and maximizing user satisfaction.

Software testing is done in 2 stages first one is alpha testing which is done on the developer end with various testing software and the other one is beta testing which is done on the client end by using that particular software.
