My laptop charges through its USB-C port, but connecting it to an external monitor through a USB-C dock gives me no picture. The same monitor and dock work with another laptop.
Does charging through USB-C tell me anything about whether that port supports video output? I’m trying to narrow down whether this is a port capability issue, a cable or dock limitation, or a display setting before replacing anything.
