My phone gets noticeably warmer on a wireless charging pad than it does when I plug it in, even though both chargers seem to charge at a similar speed. The phone is warm rather than painfully hot, but I’m unsure what counts as normal.
Is that extra heat simply part of wireless charging, or can the case, pad placement, or background activity make a big difference? I’d like to know what other people have observed before assuming the battery or charger is faulty.
