I’m trying Claude Projects for a long-running research task and want to understand what context is actually shared when I start a new chat inside a project. Does Claude use uploaded files and project instructions each time, or does it also carry details forward from earlier conversations?
I’m especially curious about the boundary between project knowledge and chat history, since I don’t want to assume it remembers something that I should add to the project instructions.
