After putting winter tires on my EV, the estimated range at a full charge fell noticeably. The battery’s state of health looks normal, and my usual route hasn’t changed, though temperatures have dropped too.
How can I separate the effect of the tires from cold-weather range loss or changes in driving conditions? I’m especially curious whether tire size, tread, or pressure makes a meaningful difference to winter tire range estimates.
