Is the US-Iran war still going on, or has it stopped?

It keeps stopping and starting again. There was a truce in June, but Iran kept attacking ships near the Strait of Hormuz. By early July, the US said the truce was over and started attacking again. Right now, in the last week of July, there is a pause in fighting, and people are talking about peace talks. But Iran has said clearly that no talks are happening yet, and they will not let the US decide when the war ends.
