What sparked it, and how did an online joke turn into a camp-out at Jantar Mantar?

It started back in May as a social media campaign called the Cockroach Janta Party, put together by Abhijeet Dipke. The name was a jab at a comment from the Chief Justice of India, who'd compared unemployed youth and social media activists to "cockroaches" and "parasites." What began as online mockery eventually spilled into protests.
