Reddit is mostly free for everyone. We can join subreddits, read posts, comment, upvote or downvote without paying. It is like a big playground where many groups are talking about many topics.

But there is also something called Reddit Premium. This is not free. If someone pays for it every month, then they get extra things. For example, no ads on their feed, and they also get coins to give awards to other posts. Coins are like small gifts to say thank you for a good post. Premium people also get a special badge.

So normal Reddit is totally free. We can use it every day, post memes, read stories, or ask questions. Only if we want fancy stuff like coins or ad-free, then we need to pay.

It is kind of like games. Many games are free to play, but if we want extra skins or characters, then we buy. Reddit is same. We don’t have to pay to enjoy it, but some people like to pay for extra features.

So the answer is: yes Reddit is free, but some features are paid.
