India first encountered coffee in the latter part of the seventeenth century. It is said that in 1670, Baba Budan, an Indian pilgrim to Mecca (it was forbidden to take coffee seeds out of Arabia at the time), snuck seven beans back to India from Yemen and planted them in the Chandragiri hills of Karnataka.

What is your opinion on coffee?

The Dutch, who controlled a large portion of India during the 17th century, contributed to the development of coffee production throughout the nation, but it wasn't until the British Raj took control of the country in the middle of the 19th century that commercial coffee farming reached its pinnacle.

When coffee leaf rust first became common, Arabica predominated; however, large infestations forced many farms to switch to Robust or Arabica/Liberica hybrids.

Coffee is a healthy substitute for sugary energy drinks since it is full of immune-boosting antioxidants. College students who need something to keep them awake so they can study or work should pay particular attention to this.

Antioxidants have many health advantages, including defense against various cancers and heart disease. The coffee bean is also renowned for defending against a variety of health problems.

Coffee can lower type 2 diabetes by 36% and can prevent liver and endometrial cancer, according to a Pittsburgh Post-Gazette story titled 'Can coffee be part of a healthy lifestyle' that was published on March 10.

Additionally, research has shown that coffee lowers the chance of developing neurological illnesses including Alzheimer's and depression.

Compared to energy drinks, coffee has more caffeine. In a Center for Science in the Public Interest article from November 2014 titled 'Caffeine content of food and medications,' it is stated that a grande Starbucks coffee has 330 mg of caffeine, whereas Monster Energy has only 160 mg. Energy drinks also contain a lot of sugar, which, if eaten in large amounts, can cause weight gain and obesity.

Apart from all this information that I get from everyone I am amazed that I can drink on occasions but I am a tea person so coffee can never take its place, although while writing this answer I would urge you to enjoy reading my answers while sipping your favorite drink may be coffee or tea, whatever!

I hope you liked my answer.
