The KSLV-II Nuri rocket was South Korea's first domestic space launch vehicle which was destroyed by a helium tank it came loose. The rocket's three stages all functioned well, lifting it to a height of 700 kilometers, and the 1.5-ton cargo successfully separated. The third-stage engine ceased burning 46 seconds ahead of schedule, which contributed to the mission's failure.
