- Begin by going to account.live.com/acsr and entering the email address, phone number, or username associated with the account you're trying to access.
- After that, offer an email address where Microsoft can contact you about your request.
- To show you're not a robot, you'll be asked to key in the characters you see on the screen.
- You'll see a screen asking you to confirm your contact email address. Look for a message from us with the security code in that email, enter it, and then select Verify.
- When you're completed, click Submit, and Microsoft should answer within 24 hours.
