How is content put in Netflix or Amazon?

Netflix and amazon prime both are popular OTT streaming platforms that are most popular among the majority of people. Netflix has a greater content library and apps for more platforms and devices than that supported by Amazon Prime. Netflix also offers subtitles for more TV shows and movies than Amazon. The biggest contention between Amazon Prime and Netflix has been the size of the content library. Amazon Prime has a smaller library of available titles but tends to offer more of the latest movies and TV shows for instant watching. Netflix, on the other hand only offers TV shows and movies that are over a year old but has a much larger library of shows and movies than Amazon.

The process of choosing what content to offer to their audience is very complex. Their goal is certainly to capture a vast audience and to create hype among people regarding the content. These platforms even sometimes use social media to keep a track of what people consume in terms of genre and content, what they prefer in terms of location, vacation destinations, and time of the day when they are free to watch the television.
Both Netflix and amazon prime upload the content in such a manner that people binge-watch them. Before content is put on Amazon or Netflix it is checked a lot of time and it is then decided whether the content requires some cut, edit in the scene, some extra scenes, or is perfect to put on.
