Tree topologies are commonly used in corporate networks to organise data in databases and workstations. Any two linked nodes in a tree topology can only have one mutual connection, so there can only be one link between them.
This topology is ideal for organisations with small departments and even sub-departments.
Similarly, if you have multi-floor team placements, it may be the best option for you. If you try to use the basic Star Network scheme, you will encounter numerous difficulties. This is because it is not practical to run cables from one floor to another in such circumstances. It will be prohibitively expensive.
