Reasons AMD processors so slow:

  • The degradation of the thermal paste that helps conduct heat from the CPU to the heat sink can cause the Ryzen CPU to slow down; if this happens, the CPU may have to throttle more (reduce its clock speed) to keep its operating temperature within acceptable limits.
  • Then there is a chance that your RAM was severely impacted. As a result, it was unable to run the heavier applications; as a result, your Ryzen processor or computer may slow down.
  • If you only have four CPU cores and you play heavy games all day and night, your CPU may eventually slow down.
