When compared to the current generation Core series, these processors are more efficient. Laptops powered by Ryzen processors often clock lower and less aggressively than Intel-powered laptops, and they often run cooler and longer on battery, so Ryzen-powered laptops can be used when higher iGPU performance and longer battery life are desired.
