The different types of digital cameras:

  • Compact cameras are the most popular and straightforward cameras ever seen. They are known as 'point and shoot cameras' since they are used for everyday purposes. They are quite small and thus transportable.
  • Most people confuse bridge cameras with single-lens reflex cameras (SLR). Though they share some aspects, they have distinct properties. Some of its characteristics are: Fixed focal length, Sensors for small images A live preview of the photo that will be shot
  • This is one of the highest-end cameras available at a reasonable price. Like a regular camera with a digital image sensor, they use the single-lens reflex approach. With the help of a separate optical viewfinder, the SLR method consists of a mirror that reflects the light passing through the lens.
  • This is just the result of a combination of huge sensors and interchangeable lenses. An EVF is used to create the preview. A DSLR-like system has no complications.
  • This is a unique rangefinder-equipped film camera. This type of camera allows for distant photography. Other cameras can take images from a distance, but they don't employ the rangefinder approach.
