Is it worth it to switch from QWERTY to Dvorak typing?

• Probably would still not recommend switching to Dvorak to anyone who can already touch type using QWERTY. There's no solid evidence that it would make you faster, and learning is a hard process if you have to type quickly.
• The maximum speed reported on QWERTY is 227 WPM, while the highest recorded speed on Dvorak is 194 WPM. However, many more people than Dvorak have spent their entire lives with the QWERTY keyboard. Perhaps if more people used Dvorak, a fastest Dvorak typist might emerge.
