  • To use Phone Hub to access your Android phone from your Chromebook, follow these steps:
  • Swipe down from the top of the screen on your Android device and check that Bluetooth is turned on in the quick settings menu.
  • Select the time in the lower-right corner of the screen on your Chromebook, then make sure Bluetooth is turned on.
  • In the taskbar, click the Phone icon.
  • In the pop-up window, click Get Started.
  • Make sure your phone is chosen under Device detected, then select Accept & continue.
  • Enter the password for your Google account.
  • Choose Done. Your Chromebook is now connected to your Android phone.
  • To open the Phone Hub, click the Phone icon in the taskbar. Tap Settings if you don't see your phone's information (gear icon).
  • Enable Phone Hub by selecting it. Other features such as Smart Lock, Instant Tethering, Notifications, and Messages can be enabled from here.
