How To Reformat A Jump Drive On A Mac?

•  Using a Mac to Format a USB Drive
• Connect a USB drive to your computer's USB port.
• The disc will be recognised by macOS, and its icon will appear on the desktop.
• Disk Utility will be launched.
• In the top-right corner, put 'Disk Utility' into the search box. Select the Disk Utility result from the search.
• Choose your USB drive from the left-hand menu. At the top, select Erase.
• Select a Format after giving the drive a name.
• Format types to choose from are displayed.
• Erase is the option to choose.
• A progress bar will appear on the screen. Wait for the hard disc to be formatted.
• Select Done when you're finished
• Disk Utility should be closed. At the top of the screen, select Disk Utility, then Quit Disk Utility.
