What is ribbon in MS Word?
  • The ribbon is a group of toolbars at the top of Office programmes' windows that are designed to assist you discover the commands you need to finish a task quickly.
  • Select the Ribbon Display Options icon Ribbon icon in the top-right corner.
  • Choose one of the following options for the ribbon
  • Show Tabs and Commands keeps all of the ribbon's tabs and commands visible at all times.
  • Show tabs just reveals the ribbon tabs, allowing you to see more of your work while still being able to rapidly flip between them.
  • The Auto-Hide ribbon hides the ribbon so you can see your document better, and only exposes it when you pick More or use the ALT key.
  • If you need to see more of your document, double-click any of the ribbon tabs or press CTRL+F1 to collapse the ribbon.
  • Simply double-click any ribbon tab or press CTRL+F1 to bring up the ribbon again.
