Why is Reddit such a toxic place?
  • Over the course of the site's fifteen years of existence, Reddit has not only made its way to the top of the internet, but it has also established a reputation for itself.
  • Because of its community, Reddit is seen as a potentially harmful website. Being anonymous on the internet unfortunately has a habit of bringing out the worst in people, and this appears to be the case on Reddit. Keep in mind that toxicity is frequently restricted to specific subreddits.
  • After all, Reddit isn't a monolithic entity that thinks in a single thought. It's difficult to generalise because even the people that manage Reddit have a variety of motivations.
