What’s another way to show you pins to your audience without always linking to Pinterest?
  • At the top of your Pinterest profile, click the plus sign (+). To make your first pin, go to your profile page by clicking on your name or profile image in the top-right corner of Pinterest.
  • From the dropdown menu, choose 'Create Pin.' Click the plus sign icon ('+') on your profile page, above the interest boards you selected when creating your Pinterest profile, and select 'Create Pin' from the dropdown menu that displays,
  • Add a destination link and an image file from your computer. If you're on a desktop computer, go to your Pinterest profile page and click 'Create Pin' to get to the pin-making page.
  • Give your pin an attractive preview by clicking the 'Add your title' preview text and giving it a title that best fits the content of your pin.
  • Add a 500-character description for your pin beneath the title. Keep in mind that in users' Pinterest newsfeeds, only the first 50 characters of your pin description will appear beneath the image.
  • Before you save your pin, you must first add it to a 'board.'
